Back in May of 2013, a man from Utah County shared an unusual experience with some Dream Miners after the stockholder meeting. At the time, he had an online business selling items on eBay, and had an email conversation with one of his customers named Al Sinclair. Some Dream Miners believe Al Sinclair to be the translated Alma the Younger from the Book of Mormon, who will soon return to start the Relief Mine up again.

Bishop Koyle prophesied that after his death the Lord would send messengers to direct the miners, but that these messengers would be disguised. Later, when it was time for the Relief Mine to be vindicated, at the time of the economic collapse, these same messengers would return revealing their true identity as servants of the Lord.

For those not familiar, Alma the Younger was an ancient Nephite prophet who played a significant role in the spiritual and political history of the people. He received divine callings and revelations from the Lord, preached the gospel, and led the people in righteousness.

But what does translated mean exactly? A translated being is someone who has been blessed by Jesus Christ to remain living until his second coming. John the Revelator is one example, as we see in the New Testament:

20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? (John 21: 20-23)

Jesus also gave this promise to at least three Nephites when he came to visit the people on the American continent:

4 And when he had spoken unto them, he turned himself unto the three, and said unto them: What will ye that I should do unto you, when I am gone unto the Father?
5 And they sorrowed in their hearts, for they durst not speak unto him the thing which they desired.
6 And he said unto them: Behold, I know your thoughts, and ye have desired the thing which John, my beloved, who was with me in my ministry, before that I was lifted up by the Jews, desired of me.
7 Therefore, more blessed are ye, for ye shall never taste of death; but ye shall live to behold all the doings of the Father unto the children of men, even until all things shall be fulfilled according to the will of the Father, when I shall come in my glory with the powers of heaven.
8 And ye shall never endure the pains of death; but when I shall come in my glory ye shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye from mortality to immortality; and then shall ye be blessed in the kingdom of my Father. (3 Nephi 28: 4- 8)

Of course, there is also this verse about interacting with the Lord's messengers who may not reveal their true identity:

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2)

And who are these men that don't sin that the Lord is referring to? Translated beings perhaps?

Wherefore, I will that all men shall repent, for all are under sin, except those which I have reserved unto myself, holy men that ye know not of. (D&C 49:8)

In 1950 Al Sinclair showed up at the Relief Mine after the death of Bishop Koyle. He seemed to know the details of the mine, inside and out, so much so that it was uncanny. Al gave hints to some of the miners that he was a translated Nephite, sent by the Lord to oversee work on the mine. One such hint was to show the scars on his legs, which he said were from sword wounds received in battle. 😳

So basically the Lord sent Al to the Relief Mine, where he provided divine guidance and leadership for several years, authored the new, highly unusual Articles of Incorporation, and then backed out of the picture. Here are just a few unusual things Al allows for in the articles:

  • homes
  • schools and learning institutions
  • power plants
  • airports, railroads, tramways, ships, boats and barges
  • radio and television broadcasting, telephone services
  • banks and financial services
  • insurance policies and coverage of all kinds
  • culinary water systems, sewer systems
  • oil wells and refineries, fuel and fuel line systems, gasoline products
  • plastic products
  • chemical plants and factories
  • hospitals, medical and dental facilities, veterinary facilities, and health services of all kinds
  • standing army

Just how large will the Relief Mine be when it is fully operational? The scope of this project sounds astronomical! And to think all of this will come together at a time when the rest of the nation is in civil war, which apparently starts in Chicago according to Joseph Smith.

One Dream Miner had a daytime vision, not a dream, of how the Relief Mine would start up again, and it involved "Al Sinclair" coming back to take charge. If you haven't read that post yet, then check out, Arnold Shreeve's Vision of Alma the Younger.

Below is a short audio recording from the Utah County man who had the eBay business. He tells about the email correspondence with "Al Sinclair Staffer", a modern substitute name for Alma the Younger. This includes asking the mysterious man whether he has sword wounds on his legs. Seriously!

August 27th marks the anniversary of when the Nephite messengers first visited Bishop Koyle. He speculated that it might be an appropriate date for the messengers to return when it is time to start up the Relief Mine again. If so, this would follow the pattern set by the Angel Moroni, who visited Joseph Smith on three successive anniversaries prior to being given the gold plates.

Speaking of divine messengers, have you read the inspired poem called the Portal Guard?

Some questions to ponder:

  1. Will Al Sinclair show up on August 27th this year, revealing his true identity to the faithful believers who have been waiting for decades, or will it be sometime in the future? We just don't know, but as always, time will tell.
  2. Have you contemplated when the Lord's messengers will return to kick-start this ancient Nephite gold mine into action? It is prophesied to be the largest gold mine in the world.
  3. Do you believe Al Sinclair is Alma the Younger? If not, how come?
